Meet The Makers

Hi, I am Crystal and this handsome man next to me is my husband, Jace. We are the owners and head silversmith's of CH Designs! I started silversmithing back in June of 2019. It all started as a small hobby I did in my kitchen, getting out all the tools I had at the time, making a few pieces a week on my kitchen table, and selling them to my close friends. We are both now silversmiths full time and absolutely love it!

A few years ago we moved to Stephenville, Tx to attend Tarleton State University. I majored in Agricultural Economics while Jace majored in Agricultural Communication. After college we decided to stay since we loved the town so much! When we aren’t working, we are most likely roping. Our first rope horse, Missy, was the inspiration behind our horse head necklace. We were standing out in the pen with her, Jace turned to me and said “what if we put Missy’s head on a piece of jewelry?” We walked back inside, sat down and started, not realizing that we were creating our signature piece!
