Meet The Makers

CH Designs was found in 2019 by Crystal Hosea and Jace McCarty. The two were sophomores in college learning the art of silversmithing at their kitchen table at the end of each day. The couple soon converted their laundry room into the CHD workshop where they would spend majority of their day creating. After the McCarty’s graduated from Tarleton State University in 2021, their eyes were set on paving the jewelry industry. Growing the business exponentially greater each year while doing what they loved. “You know the saying if you do what you love you’ll never work a day in your life. Well that isn’t true. If you do what you are truly passionate about, you will work far harder than you ever imagined was possible” says the McCarty’s.

In 2019 the McCarty's moved from College Station to Stephenville Texas to attend Tarleton State University. Crystal majored in Agricultural Economics while Jace majored in Agricultural Communication. When the couple isn't working, they are most likely roping or outdoors with horses. "Our first horse, Missy, was the inspiration behind the world famous horse head necklaces. We were standing out in the pen with her, Jace turned to me and said “what if we put Missy’s head on a piece of jewelry?” We ran back inside, sat down and started, not realizing that we were creating our signature piece!"
